Tula Lite is a two-position baby carrier made with nylon ripstop material. Nylon ripstop is a durable, woven, quick-drying fabric that is ultra lightweight and keeps parents and their little ones cool and comfortable. During the weaving process of the ripstop material, thicker reinforcing yarns are interwoven at regular intervals, creating a recognizable grid pattern. This weave structure strengthens the fabric and prevents tears and ripping, hence the name ripstop. This strong material, combined with the distinct design of a Tula carrier, provides a comfortable and supportive babywearing experience. Light padding is provided by breathable 3D mesh across the arm straps and waistband for added comfort. A detachable privacy hood provides protection from the sun, a comfortable place for naps on the go, and privacy while breastfeeding.
When not in use, the Lite carrier packs neatly into the attached waistband, converting into a stylish hip or cross-body pouch with extra room for small personal items (keys, phone, wallet, etc.) and additional baby essentials – that’s right, it’s both a baby carrier and a fanny pack! It measures 10” x 5” x 3” when stored in its integrated storage compartment, and weighs only 1lb 0.8oz, making it compact enough to always have on hand.
